Shake Tree, the giant tree that rises to the east of Alcatraz Island, is the guardian deity of the island and its powerful roots, that extend deep underground, are the cage that restrains the beast-god RIBONES who once brought nightmares to the island.

However, every October 31st, which is known as "All Hallows' Eve," the magical power of rebirth awakens the beast-god RIBONES, the seal is broken, and the nightmares come again.

The ghosts of Alcatraz prisoners, the guardians of the island, stand up with the people of the earth to re-cage the beast-god RIBONES by conducting the ritual of the sealing — the secret ceremony that is completed by consuming the flesh and blood of a beast and dedicating its bones.

This is a time when those who had sinned in the past and those who are pure in their daily lives come together to hold hands and confront the darkness together.

Will they be able to return the beast-god RIBONES to his cage and restore peace to Alcatraz Island?

Alcatraz Island was a small paradise that had long been protected by the great Shake Tree and a spiritual beast that controlled the cycle of life.

For the longest time, the original inhabitants of the mainland feared and avoided Alcatraz as a cursed island but, eventually, newcomers arriving from the east began to settle and built a fort on the island.

They overran Alcatraz and used the fort as a base for warfare. Eventually, after they had conquered everyone, they converted the fort to a prison and sent their guilty to live on the island. This brought a great deal of evil to the island.

Unfortunately, the great tree and sacred beast that had protected the island since ancient times and guided the cycle of life on the island had no way to purge the unending flow of evil.

The spirit of the island had been stolen by humans. The sorrow of the many lives that had been absurdly lost in war, and the deep resentment and hatred of sinners for their crimes, filled the island like a dark fog.

The spiritual beast was slowly being eaten away by the evil and turning into darkness. The great tree could only stand and watch it happen.

Eventually, the spirit beast was swallowed up by the depths of this darkness and awakened as the beast god RIBONES.

On the night of the nightmare - the night that RIBONES, the tainted beast-god, awakened to the power of darkness - Alcatraz Island was in the midst of a storm.

Raging waves lashed the shoreline, the fierce wind and rain were incessant, and the roar of the beast-god RIBONES was louder than the thunder. It was a mournful cry that awakened the dead in the afterlife. The reincarnation of the island was distorted and many of the revived dead wandered around in the storm.

The people of Alcatraz were given an ancient ritual by the chief of the indigenous people of the continent. It was a ceremony to purge the beast-god RIBONES of his impurities, restore light to its darkened soul, restore peace to the lost souls roaming the island, and connect all things in life.

The purification ceremony requires that the life of the beast be eaten with respect and used as food for life while the joy and happiness of that life are to be celebrated by everyone together. This shows RIBONES, the beast-god guardian of reincarnation, the correct cycle of life.

But man's karma is deep. No matter how much we purify ourselves, the defilement accumulates again. Each time the stars turn and the "Day of the Dead" arrives, we need to perform the ceremony of purification.
